Migraines:
Headaches or migraines that are cyclical, or mostly cyclical, in nature are typically caused from hormone imbalance. Hormones in cycling women are designed to rise and fall in a pattern that is regulated by the Hypothalamus Pituitary Axis in the brain. When the hormones rise or fall outside the normal pattern, a migraine headache can frequently occur. These migraines can be severe enough to not respond to medication and debilitating enough to put a woman to bed with the lights out. Fortunately and typically, these migraines are easily fixable. We test to be sure a woman’s cycle is functioning normally with the patterned rise and fall of the hormones and that these hormones are within a normal ratio. The testing will quickly point out where the problem lies allowing us, through the use of natural supplements, to correct the imbalance and relieve the migraines.
